Pacific Ocean- On the floor of the Pacific
Ocean 5,000 feet below sea the water is -20C the
water pressure would crush you in seconds and there
is no light. No light, but there is life clustersed
around deep sea volcanic vents. As far removed and
as alien as if it came from another world.
10,000 feet- At this depth there is no
light filtering down from the surface. This is the
dead zone that seperates the life at the surface
and the strange new world we are about to enter.
30,000 feet- We approach the bottom of the
Marianis Trench. It is an area of intense volcanic
activity. Beneath us is an oasis of life cut off
from the rest of the world. I hope you enjoyed your
