This is a show or hide layer script that is compatable with Netscape as well as Internet Explorer.
You can set the background colors for the layers and position them anywhere on the page you desire.

You can also show links

Background-color only puts color behind the text.

If you don't put text in the layers they will not show up in Netscape 4.

You also need to use layer-background-color for Netscape 4.
