We finally talked our dad into giving us our own area on his website. As you probably already know, Pugs can be very persistent when it comes to begging for something and, although this doesn't have anything to do with food, we still hit him with our famous "lost puppy-dog, watery eyed, love-you-lots" look that gets us all those treats.
So . . . Now that we have our own site, we have been putting our heads together to come up with what we want to show you and tell you about us. First, let us introduce ourselves.

My name is Ling-Li. I was born in April of 1991 and have been part of this family since 2001. My dad got me from a friend he worked with when I was two years old. It was the best move I ever made. Since then, I have been pretty much running the house. I used to sleep on the bed until I started having night seizures. Since then, I sleep in my chair in the livingroom cause my mom got tired of changing the bed sheets every morning. Though I can't help it, I understand. I spend most of my time sleeping. Its just part of getting old, I suppose. I lost my hearing last year and can barely see anything. Still, I have it pretty good. During the day, I get beggin' strips, snausages and chicken strips and dad always gives me something extra with my dinner each night.

My name is Tazz. I was born in November of 1994. I've been here since 2003. My dad says I was a rescue. The lady who had me before was not very nice to me. I was anemic and undernourished. She kept me in a cage all day, every day and stuck me in a closet. I don't understand why anyone would do that to me. I never did anything to upset them. My dad says some people are like that. I was real happy when he brought me home. Now, I enjoy a real good life. I lost several of my teeth because of my previous medical condition and can only see out of one eye, but I am healthy now. I enjoy being outside and "talking" with the other animals in our neighborhood. Ling is my best friend in the whole world and I enjoy cuddling with her at night. She makes a real good chin rest.
About our breed: When a Pug looks at you and cocks its head, even the hardest heart has to melt. This is what we are known for and are very good at it. Existing before 400 BC, the Pug is counted among the oldest breeds of dogs. We are believed to have originated from China. We combine a cocky confidence with a friendly, sensitive nature. We are great with kids and thoroughly relish playtime and exercise. We are probably best know for our loyalty. As long as you feed us, we'll be friends for life.
